Fundraising

Angel Eyes NI does not receive any statutory funding. We are actively fundraising at very many levels, to be able to sustain all of our work and support the essential projects for blind and partially sighted children that we offer. Any funding we receive is simply invaluable as we support families through difficult times from first diagnosis through to schooling and beyond. There are two main ways you can help us fundraise.

We facilitate a range of programmes and activities for families of a child with a Visual Impairment (VI). These include toddler play sessions, Saturday clubs, educational support, In Tune workshops in partnership with Open Arts NI, and bespoke information sessions with topics led by the parents and their needs.

Any funding we receive is simply invaluable as we support families through difficult times from first diagnosis through to schooling and beyond.

There are two main ways you can help us fundraise.

1.) Easy Fundraising. Every time you shop online you can help support us, at no extra cost to you!

You just need to shop via the link www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/angeleyesni

Then search for the retailer you wish to purchase from and shop away. Then when you've made your purchase, at no extra cost to you, a donation will be made to Angel Eyes NI. There are over 3,300 shops on easyfundraising including some hotels and airport parking, holidays, ASDA and many high street retailers.

You can even download a very helpful reminder from Easy Fundraising that flags up every website that would sumit a donation to Angel Eyes NI. Many thanks, and happy shopping!

2.) Local Giving. Perhaps you could consider make a one off donation or a monthly donation to Angel Eyes NI which will help support the work we do.

This can be set up quickly and easily through

https://localgiving.org/charity/angeleyesni/ click on the 'Give Monthly' or 'Donate Now' in the top right hand corner. You can select one of their amount boxes or enter your own amount and, if you are an income tax payer, opt to gift aid so the government will add another 25p for every £1 donation you make; even a small sum, donated on an ongoing basis, makes a huge difference.

Or perhaps you might like to consider arranging a fundraiser event for us. The Local Giving site gives some suggestions of the types of things you could do.

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter, were you can find details about the activities and family events we are running.

To keep in touch, if you would like to be added to our mailing list email info@angeleyesni.org

Many thanks!
